Hey hey!

I’m Liam! I was born and raised in Charlotte in North Carolina as the oldest of three boys in a house full of Star Wars, dogs, and music. When I was five years old, I was diagnosed with Autism and discovered a comfort and release with music and performing. My whole life, being onstage, whether that be in my living room or in front of thousands, has felt like a true home to me. I have felt more sure of myself and connected to an audience in front of me than I have with anyone else in any other setting. My parents raised me on the music of their generation so I grew up jamming out to Queen, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Elton John. My love for performing started when I joined an after school music program called School of Rock when I was 9 years old. From ages 9-17 I took guitar, bass guitar, and vocal lessons as well as performed in tributes to rock bands, music genres, and decades of music all over the Charlotte region. Through this program I was also able to tour across the country two summers in a row as apart of “School of Rock Allstars team,” the top 1% of School of Rock students from all over the country.

While my young life was surrounded by rock music, my love for theater has always been present. From a very young age I would see all the touring shows that came through Charlotte with a hidden desire to be onstage just like those performers. When 6th grade came, I asked my parents if I could audition for the local performing arts middle/high school and was accepted to Northwest School of the Arts and my time in theatre began. I became completely hooked with doing as many shows as I could both in and outside of school. Naturally as high school came to a close, I decided I wanted to continue to pursue musical theatre and attended Pace University in their BFA Musical Theatre Program.

Since my time at Pace began I have had the privilege of making the best friends I could have asked for and have had opportunities of performing in school and starting my career in the industry. I have been fortunate enough to be involved with multiple new works around the city including Maya by Cheeyang Ng and Eric Sorrels, Newtons Cradle by Heath and Kim Saunders, How to Dance in Ohio by Jacob Yandura and Rebekah Greer Melocik, and multiple productions at Disney Theatrics with writers including Nick Blaemire, Benj Pasek, and Justin Paul. I have found a true love in doing new works and being apart of these creative processes. Moving to NYC for school at the age of 19 was the best decision I ever made and I would not trade any experiences that have come from it for the world.
